Mary Anne Waikart Program Director
Mary
Anne Waikart is former Vice-President, Business Development, for the
Morino Institute, a non-profit organization which fostered internet
entrepreneurship and youth development initiatives. Prior to that
she was Executive Director of the Center for Global Management and
Research at The George Washington University. She was in London for
four years as Associate Dean and Director of the MBA Programmes at
London Business School. She was the Director of the University of
Maryland's MBA program, leading its march into the top thirty. While
at The Maryland Business School, she was Chairman of the Graduate
Management Admission Council, an organization which owns and
operates, through ETS, the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
for MBA admissions use. She taught Organizational Behavior at the
Whittemore School of Business and Economics, where she was the
Assistant Dean, at the University of New Hampshire, and developed a
course, Social Issues, for the University's Thompson School. Mrs.
Waikart serves on several for-profit and non-profit advisory boards.
She has a BA in History and an MBA and was educated at Trinity
College, Oxford University (UK), and the University of New
Hampshire. She is married and has one son, a St. Albans graduate,
who is a college student.
