Robert D. Andrew
I.T. Consultant and Web
Bob Andrew
is an experienced implementer of sustainable I.T. system intuitive
to use, rich in content and easy to securely update via the web from anywhere
in the world. His particular expertise is facilitating the use of
collaboration tools to manage content, change, issues, knowledge and risks in
conjunction with mapping technologies and databases.
Bob is active in E-Government practices, and GSA's Next Generation
Strategies monthly workshops at NSF.
Bob was born in New Zealand, and was educated at Hamilton Boys High. then at
the University of Auckland with an honours degree. He came back a decade later
as a Senior Lecturer and taught Chemical Engineering Design.
After a long career with Mobil Oil that culminated in building their global
"best practices" intranet for Environment, Health and Safety functions, he was
also appointed to an advisory "Researcher-in-Residence" position at American
University, He is establishing a “Centre of Excellence” for Computer Science
Corp that provides capability across CSC’s Federal and Commercial customers to
share spatial data and provide analytical tools for locational intelligence,
using maps, public data and satellite or aerial imagery.
Bob also provides expertise in design and support of websites for civic and
non-profits.
